Dim sum: by J

One of my all time favorite things is Dim Sum.

So I was happy and full all day Sunday after having Dim Sum in the inner Richmond with family.

Yes, unless you pay a premium at a place like Yank Sing,  you have to deal with less than cleanly bathrooms. The bathroom at Tong Palace, where we ate, had a sign above the toilet that read, “for your safety please do not stand on the toilet seat”, noted.

The service is usually minimal if not bordering on rude.

And any place worth going will have lines if you arrive much after 10:30 am.

But I grew up with it, with the steam and the noise, the deeply bitter tea, and the distinct feeling of being with family.

What food makes you think of home?
