The cold weather definitely has me reaching for more comfort foods. Gone are the days of salads and grilled meats.
I want hearty soups, stews, and pastas.
To lighten it up a little I used ground turkey and chopped sauteed spinach in the meatballs.
I also found a new favorite gluten free brown rice pasta, jovial. Instead of being gummy, this pasta cooked perfectly.
Up for tomorrow a borscht recipe, one of my all time favorite soups.
