I will be the first person to admit that I primarily celebrate holidays as justification to eat good things.
So when a friend suggested a Chinese New Year’s lunch at M.Y. China I was pretty excited.
The food was your standard favorites done very well, and frequently with a subtle twist. However, you pay a premium for the kind of high end experience it offers.
This is not your standard hole in the wall neighborhood spot that I always have a place in my heart for.
It would be perfect for a friend who thinks they don’t like Chinese food whose experiences extend to greasy containers of red sauced Panda Express or other similar things.
Happy Year of the Snake!
