Dinner at my place with a very loose theme of Mexican food. Some parts were authentic, some parts were a throw back to youth, and some were just born out of West Coast seasonality.
We did manage to have a small bull shaped pinata.
I made dulce de leche, we served with vanilla ice cream, horchata, chorizo tacos with hard and soft tortilla options, chicken enchiladas, elote style corn, and a mixed salad, with chips, salsa and guacamole provided by friends, as well as a nice bottle of tequila.
One couple friend may be moving a little further away, so we’re reminded to make the most of the time we have right now.
